Data We Collect
We collect no personal information.
All learning data (multiplication progress, session history, streaks, settings) is stored exclusively on your device. It is never transmitted to any server, never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising or analytics.
Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)
Times Table for Kids is designed for children ages 6–10 (Grades 1–4) and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We take children's privacy seriously:
- We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, location data, or any other personally identifiable information from children or adults.
- We do not collect or use persistent device identifiers (advertising IDs, device IDs, IP addresses).
- We do not serve advertisements of any kind.
- We do not use behavioral tracking, profiling, or targeted content.
- We do not use third-party analytics SDKs that collect data from users.
- The app functions entirely offline. An internet connection is only required for in-app purchases.
- No verifiable parental consent is required because we do not collect personal information from children.
California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA)
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information.
Because we do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information from any user (child or adult), there is no personal information to disclose, delete, or opt out of.
- Right to Know: We do not collect personal information. All data stays on your device.
- Right to Delete: You can delete all app data at any time via Parent Area → Settings → Reset all progress, or by uninstalling the app.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell or share personal information. There is nothing to opt out of.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We do not discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights.
- Sensitive Personal Information: We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CPRA.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland:
- Data Controller: KriMi App Studio LLC, reachable at support@krimiappstudio.com.
- Lawful Basis: We do not process personal data. All app data is stored locally on the device and never transmitted to us.
- Data Subject Rights: Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing. Because we hold no personal data on any server, these rights are exercised entirely on your device (delete via Settings or uninstall).
- Data Transfers: No personal data is transferred outside your device. The only network communication is with Apple/Google for in-app purchases (processed by the platform, not by us).
- Data Protection Officer: Given our zero-data-collection approach, a DPO is not required. For inquiries, contact support@krimiappstudio.com.
- Children Under 16: We do not collect personal data from any user, including children. No parental consent mechanism is needed because no data is collected.
California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)
In accordance with CalOPPA:
- This privacy policy is accessible within the app (Parent Area → Privacy Policy) and at this URL.
- We do not collect personally identifiable information from users.
- Do Not Track (DNT): We do not track users in any way. We honor Do Not Track signals by default because we perform no tracking whatsoever.
- Third-Party Disclosure: We do not share any data with third parties. RevenueCat (our purchase management provider) operates in anonymous mode and does not receive any personal information.
- Users will be notified of any privacy policy changes through this page.
In-App Purchases
Times Table for Kids offers a one-time "Premium" upgrade. Purchases are:
- Processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) — not by us directly.
- Managed by RevenueCat, which operates in anonymous mode (no user ID, no email collected). See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
- Protected by an always-on math-challenge parental gate on all purchase actions, keeping payment screens away from children. Additionally, Apple/Google require device-level authentication (Face ID / fingerprint / password) before any transaction completes.
Data Stored on Device
The app stores the following data locally in encrypted device storage:
| Data | Purpose |
| Multiplication fact progress | Powers the spaced-repetition learning algorithm |
| Session history | Parent dashboard statistics |
| Settings (sound, avatar, PIN) | User preferences |
| Practice dates | Streak calculation |
This data never leaves the device.
Third-Party Services
| Service | Purpose | Data Shared |
| RevenueCat | Purchase management | None (anonymous mode) |
| Apple App Store / Google Play | Payment processing | Handled by platform, not by us |
We do not use any analytics, advertising, or crash reporting services.
Data Deletion
To delete all app data:
- Open the app → Parent Area → Settings → Reset all progress
- Alternatively, uninstalling the app removes all stored data.
Because we store no data on any server, deletion is immediate and complete.
Data Retention
All data is stored on your device for as long as the app is installed. We retain no data on any server. When you delete data via the app or uninstall, it is permanently removed.
Changes to This Policy
We will update this page if our practices change. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
